A Waypoint Studios Partner is an alternative route, that’s officially approved and recognised by Mojang. We offer a more hands on approach to start your partnership, helping to answer questions, provide technical assistance and generally show you the skills you need to become your own partner.
Through our assistance, creators are more likely to be noticed by Mojang and be recognised as a talented creator with the assurance that you’ve been shown all the ins and outs of making content for the marketplace.
We’re biased, obviously, but we firmly believe that Waypoint Studios offers the best partnership program as we were founded by and managed by Minecraft map makers. A Waypoint partnership isn’t for everyone, though!
At Waypoint Studios we are particularly skilled at supporting creators with existing ideas, and the pre-existing talent to build on them. We do not build your worlds for you, instead we use our 10+ years of experience and guide you on what players are looking for and help tailor your idea into something that’s release ready!
If you choose to publish with Waypoint Studios, then we take our fee by taking a minority percentage of sales of products we release on your behalf. Specifically we take 20% of each sale. That means that we only benefit from helping you succeed!
We receive hundreds of applications each week, and whilst we do try to keep on top of them, applications can take up to a month to be reviewed. We respond to all applications, regardless of if you’ve been accepted or denied, explaining the next steps, or if you weren’t successful, detailing what specifically were the reasons that your application wasn’t continued.
